New Investigation in gesture control technology for metal surfaces

New Investigation in gesture control technology for metal surfaces

Since a few weeks ago we began a new investigation for gestural control system, which will be used on any surface, being it metal or not, to reduce its size and scope to extend the range to meet well, 100% the needs of our customers.

This investigation was initiated because we observed a very high metal surfaces application in interest and new uses in accessibility, that requires greater scope for action. But, what this research consist? We presented it below.

Laboratory video 2/3; Stress Test and Reliability gesture recognition

Laboratory video 2/3; Stress Test and Reliability gesture recognition

This is the second video of a collection of three videos. This second video is a video of the first gesture control hood in the world in a Teka hood DVT- 985 B.

After years of research and development as always in a marked and only innovative area, we present our latest technological development; within our area of control gesture technology. Here is, the first hood controlled with gestures in the world. We have implemented for the first time with an industrial use in the Teka DVT-985 B hood. From here we thank Teka and its professionals for their apreciated cooperation.

Watch related video

In this video, you’ll see a stress test and reliability in the gesture recognition system, this new gesture control technology. In is subjected to the hood at a repeated sequence of random movements in very short time to appreciate how the system will gesture following and executing user requests and in that moment fails or does not recognize the gesture. These are the results and test conditions.

Operation gesture technology . Simulation controlling a Glass ceramic/Induction hob

Operation gesture technology . Simulation controlling a Glass ceramic/Induction hob

In previous post we have met the new gesture technology . But how does it really work?, Is it possible to see it already in operation?. The following video is a simulation of Simulator of Glass ceramic/Induction hob with Gesture control developed by AHS Technology. It shows the movements of the mouse ( yesssss, the mouse is also gestural ;-)) emulating up various functions of this would be controlled. The moves are standard and they are the same for any household new gestural device. Put video  in full screen to better enjoy the HD experience.

Watch related video

Note 1: The functionality of the hob is theoretical and may result in practice resulting from different specifications or design changes.

Note 2: The video hand gestural rectangular area represents our hand making those movements in the air without touching anything absolutely. In the video you can see in detail the accuracy of this patented technology and we are beginning to market. If you are interested in applying this technology to control your device and you are manufacturer, please contact us. http://www.redsolar.es/en/contactar/
